It's still cold, STILL snowing here in NYC. We had no heat in our apt. last night, and I had to call the boiler repair folks this morning to come and do whatever it is that they do to get the thing back on. Which they have. I think. (As my sweetie pointed out to me, it's hard to tell if the heat's on when your ears ring all the time anyway. But I think I heard the heat go on.) We're pretty well insulated here, so it's not like we're freezing, but still... it's WINTER out there.  )
Meanwhile, here are some shots I took earlier this year. Life on NYC rooftops is more interesting than you'd think, even if you do remember the old song...

Not much more to say than that. There's not much accumulation of snow, despite what the first picture implies, but it's gray and cold and damp and definitely NOT springlike. Sigh.

Memories of Spring

The weather's not as bad as it has been here in NYC, but it's still miserably winter. Don't really feel like going out and shooting, but I did wander through some of the stuff I've got on my hard drive and came across these, which made me feel warm and sunnier.
So here's some warm & sunny thoughts for all of us tonight.
